A drawing resembling half-timber construction is applied to the bus stop opposite the historic South Orange City Hall. The imagery on the shelter is cartoonish, rather than illusionistic, an iconographic iteration of the original across the road. Like a drawing on the fabric of the city itself, the installation creates a playful dialog between one public structure and another, while incorporated into the background of everyday life.
